‘These drawings are non-figurative and intensely physical works - marks of a sort of choreography with the mind and body engaging as one. Those entitled Rain, a ... series in which the paper is scored with a thicket of vertical incised lines, again mark the parameters of the arm’s reach, creating an enigmatic spatial field for the eye somewhere between two and three dimensions.’
