ANTONY GORMLEY, KUNSTHAUS BREGENZ, AUSTRIA, 2009

12 July - 04 October 2009

This exhibition featured five key works produced over the last fifteen years: BODY (1991/93), FRUIT (1991/93), CRITICAL MASS II (1995), ALLOTMENT II (1996), and CLEARING V (2009). Embedded in the context of Peter Zumthor's architecture, they challenge the fine line in the human psyche that marks the mental balance between asserting oneself as an individual and blending into the masses. A fully illustrated catalogue with texts by Antonio Damasio, Yilmaz Dziewior and Marcus Steinweg accompanied the exhibition.
