Asian Field (2003) was installed in the gymnasium of Johnan High School in Tokyo as part of a collaboration with Mori Art Museum and the British Council. The installation was undertaken by a team of 150 volunteers aged between 8-80, mostly from the local area. Asian Field is made up of 200,000 small clay figures created by people living in Guangzhou, China in 2003 and has since also been installed in venues in China, Korea and Singapore.
