Learning to See III and Under My Skin now on permanent display at Staatliche Kunstsammlungen Dresden
Learning to See III (1993) and Under My Skin (1997) are now on permanent display at Staatliche Kunstsammlungen Dresden.
The two works show the artist’s continual investigation into the body as a transformative zone with immense potential, whether that be the unknowable depths of darkness contained within or an energy that radiates out. To do this, the artist eschews any attempt at likeness, understanding that the body is as much a place of imagination as it is appearance.
